Mbetjet e vendbanimeve të fortifikuara, shpellat, tumat, varrezat monumentale, objektet e kultit, enët, veglat e punës, stolitë etj, janë dëshmuese të historisë në çdo cep të rajonit.

Sot risjellim në vëmendje dy objekte kulti nga epoka e Neolitit të Vonë, të gjendura në Kamnik të Kolonjës.

“Nëna e Madhe”, enë antropomorfe, një simbol i nënës, diellit dhe tokës si edhe ena vazo-këmbanë shquhen për motivet e larmishme të pikturimit. Nga forma ato nuk janë enë për mbajtje të ushqimit, ndaj janë kategorizuar si objekte kulti.

The Korçë region boasts an extraordinary archaeological wealth! The remains of fortified settlements, caves, tumuli, monumental tombs, religious objects, pottery, tools, jewelry, and more serve as testimony to the region’s history in every corner.

Today, we bring attention to two cult objects from the Late Neolithic period, discovered in Kamnik, Kolonjë. “The Great Mother,” an anthropomorphic vessel, symbolizes motherhood, the sun, and the earth, while the bell-shaped vase stands out for its diverse painted motifs. Due to their shape, these are not food storage vessels, which is why they are categorized as cult objects.
