OFFICIAL/ Former Skënderbeu star signs with new club, sensational return after demanding record salary in the Super League

Peter Olainka is officially a player for APOEL. For the former Skënderbeu player, it’s a sensational return to Cyprus after about 13 years, having first tested his talent with Jenicami.

The Nigerian was introduced by APOEL yesterday through a social media video. The 30-year-old was also close to joining Karagumruk in Turkey, but nothing was finalized.

Olainka will need to regain his form, having been without a club for the past four months. In the Albanian Superliga, he is remembered for his experiences with Bylis and Skënderbeu. He did not return to the Superliga, reportedly seeking a record salary compared to the current figures in the league.
