Operation “Four” by the Korçë Police has shed light on a series of thefts that had troubled the city

The Korçë Police have concluded the operation codenamed “Four,” within the framework of which four cases of vehicle theft in the city have been solved and documented. As a result, the suspected perpetrator of these cases has been located and arrested, a citizen previously convicted for the same criminal activity.

Following thorough investigative work, the services of the Korçë Police Commissariat identified, apprehended, and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen L. Sh., 42 years old, resident of Korçë.

Based on investigative actions, examination of video footage, and information obtained through operational channels, this individual is suspected of being the author of thefts from four vehicles, incidents that occurred on 31.01.2026 in the city of Korçë.

As material evidence, a car radio, a passport, a set of keys, an iPhone 13 Pro Max mobile phone, a sum of money in Albanian lekë, as well as other items suspected to have been stolen from the vehicles, were found and seized.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë for further actions.
