People have gone crazy / A 75-year-old man threatens his wife with an axe. Incident in Korçë, Devoll, Pogradec, and Maliq

Specialists for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking at the Korçë Local Police Directorate referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office against citizen O.A., 38 years old, resident of the village of Malinat, Berat, for the criminal offenses “Forgery of seals, stamps or forms” and “Illegal crossing of the state border”, and declared wanted citizen F.Sh., 48 years old, resident of the village of Trestenik, Devoll, for the criminal offense “Assistance for illegal border crossing”.

Police services identified these two citizens above the village of Trestenik, Devoll, and ordered them to stop. Citizen F.Sh. did not obey the order and fled quickly. Citizen O.A., after being stopped by Police, stated that citizen F.Sh. would help him cross the Greek border illegally in exchange for a payment of 100 euros.

During a physical search, citizen O.A. was found with a passport containing suspected false stamps. Work continues to capture citizen F.Sh. and document this criminal activity.

Specialists for the Investigation of Narcotics referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against citizen F.M., 19 years old, resident of the village of Pirg, Maliq, after a small quantity of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa was found on him in the village of Bulgarec, Korçë, which was seized as material evidence.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Korçë Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against the following citizens:

I.Q., resident of Korçë, after preventing citizen Z.F., 59 years old, from entering the apartment they co-own in neighborhood no. 18 in Korçë by changing the door lock, committing self-justice;

A.K., 19 years old, and J.T., 30 years old, residents of Korçë, after active sports betting pages were found on their mobile phones during a check at a bar in neighborhood no. 10, Korçë. Two mobile phones were seized as material evidence.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Pogradec Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against the following citizens:

K.P., 75 years old, resident of Pogradec, suspected of threatening his wife with a sharp object (axe). She was provided with a protection order;

F.P., 43 years old, resident of the village of Bahçallëk, Pogradec, after allegedly disturbing her mother-in-law, who is equipped with a protection order, in violation of a court decision.

Materials were also referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for evaluation after several citizens were involved in a conflict yesterday on “Reshit Çollaku” street in Pogradec for minor motives. After being escorted to the police station, they withdrew their complaints.

The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.

Maliq. This morning on the “Korçë–Bilisht” road axis, near the village of Zëmblak, Maliq, a vehicle driven by citizen E.C. struck citizen Z.B., about 78 years old, resident of Zëmblak, a pedestrian, who was taken to the Korçë hospital for medical treatment.

Further procedural actions are being carried out with the driver, citizen E.C.

The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
