POLICE / Arrests and criminal proceedings. Here is the latest statement from the police!

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante delicto the individuals M. P., 44 years old, resident of Korça, and D. E., 34 years old, resident of the village Zvezdë, Maliq, as they were caught driving their respective vehicles while under the influence of alcohol.

Specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against J. S., 41 years old, resident of Korça, after a physical search revealed and seized a quantity of suspected cannabis sativa.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Section of the Maliq Police Commissariat referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against N. Ç. and R. K., after they were caught performing construction work without the necessary permits from the competent authorities.

In the Maliq Police Commissariat, A. H., 43 years old, resident of Maliq, reported that since February 3, 2025, his son, A. H., 19 years old, has been missing from their home. Efforts are being made to locate him.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça for further action.
