POLICE / Arrests in Korçë. Cannabis in Ersekë, 35-year-old prosecuted

Specialists of the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante the following citizens:

A. R., 32 years old, resident of the village of Stavraj, Librazhd, after being caught driving a vehicle without a driving license;

B. A., 54 years old, resident of Korçë, after being caught driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Unit referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against D. S., 35 years old, resident of Ersekë, after a quantity of suspected narcotic substance, cannabis, was found and seized in his vehicle.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Unit referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against E. P., 35 years old, resident of Tirana, after several industrial products for which he did not possess accompanying invoices were found and seized in his vehicle.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Korçë, for further actions.
