POLICE/ Illegal betting in Podgorije. 24-year-old found with a sporting pistol

The Pogradec Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against:

E. D., 39, resident of Podgorije village, after electronic devices suspected of being used for placing sports bets, as well as 2 betting slips, were found and seized during a search in the premises of the bar he managed;

K. M., 24, resident of Gështenjas village, after being found in possession of a sporting pistol, which he threw to the ground upon noticing the presence of Police services.

Procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
