POLICE: Operations in Korçë, Maliq, and Pogradec. Serious incident in Kolonjë / 65-year-old attempts suicide at home

The services of the Korçë Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the following citizens:

* U. B., 36, resident of Pogradec, and K. H., 32, resident of Mesmal village, after being caught on the “Maliq-Korçë” road axis transporting illegally cut timber with their vehicles. The timber was confiscated as material evidence.

* E. R., caught carrying out construction work without a permit.

The services of the Maliq Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against K. R., caught conducting construction work without a permit.

The services of the Kolonjë Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against K. P., 65, resident of Psar village, after attempting suicide at home by injuring both hands with a cutting tool.

He is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital and is out of life-threatening danger.
