POLICE: Punches, Domestic Violence, Arrests – Here is the Official Statement!

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Devoll Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen G. D., 28 years old, resident of Bilisht, after he forcefully resisted police officers during a physical search.
Additionally, the same specialists referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens G. F., 37 years old, and I. Ç., 31 years old, residents of Devoll, as they are suspected of punching a 41-year-old man over minor motives.
The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Maliq Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen S. L., 36 years old, resident of Sheqeras village, Maliq, as he is suspected of exerting violence against his sister, who was subsequently issued a protection order.
The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Korçë Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against:
O. Xh., 54 years old, resident of Korçë, suspected of punching two individuals over minor motives;
Dh. V., 23 years old, resident of Korçë, as a small axe was found and seized during a physical search.
Four forestry service employees in Pogradec are facing criminal prosecution for neglecting to take action against a vehicle carrying illegally logged timber.
The Economic Crime Investigation Specialists in the regional police of Korçë have referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens K. L., 34 years old, E. D., 41 years old, R. G., 40 years old, and M. V., 30 years old, residents of Pogradec.
These four individuals, employed by the Directorate of Forest and Pasture Protection in Pogradec Municipality, are accused of abuse of office for failing to accompany and seize a vehicle loaded with illegally cut timber.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further legal action.
