Self-inflicted injury of an 18-year-old, her 22-year-old boyfriend arrested

22-year-old Erisjaldo Gjuta was arrested by Tirana police following the injury of his 18-year-old girlfriend. He faces charges for “Failure to Report a Crime,” “Actions Obstructing the Discovery of the Truth” committed in cooperation, and “Unlicensed Possession of Explosive Weapons and Ammunition.”

The young man is the nephew of Vladimir Gjuta, and the incident occurred at the family’s hotel, where the 18-year-old was injured by a firearm.

“Specialists in Crimes Against Life and Property, in cooperation with Police Station No. 1, captured and detained citizen E. Gj., 22, who had been wanted since yesterday for the offenses of ‘Failure to Report a Crime,’ ‘Actions Obstructing the Discovery of the Truth’ committed in cooperation, and ‘Unlicensed Possession of Explosive Weapons and Ammunition,’” the police announced.
