Serious incident / Minor falls into a pot of hot water, ends up in hospital

A serious incident was reported yesterday in Shkodër. A 2-year-old girl accidentally fell into a pot of hot water and suffered burns.

The incident occurred in the ‘Skënderbeg’ neighborhood. After receiving initial treatment at Shkodër Hospital, the child was transported to the University Hospital Center (QSUT) for specialized care.

“Yesterday, in the ‘Skënderbeg’ neighborhood, in the social housing area, a 2-year-old child is believed to have accidentally fallen into a pot of hot water and sustained burns. After receiving first medical aid at the Shkodër Regional Hospital, the girl was transferred to UHC,” the police explained.
