SERIOUS INCIDENT / Teacher prosecuted for assaulting a lower secondary school student!

A 58-year-old teacher has been criminally prosecuted following a social media report of violence against his students in class during lesson time.
The Sarandë Police confirmed today (March 19) that they have taken teacher G.N., resident of Velhov village, under investigation immediately after the case of mistreatment of one of the children was publicized.
“The Sarandë Police Department referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen G.N., 58, resident of Velhov village, a teacher at a 9-year basic school in Finiq village, on suspicion of having mistreated a student during class time (the case was published on social media),” reads the official statement from the local police.
The investigation is being conducted by the prosecution, with evidence and testimonies being collected to fully clarify the incident. Video footage has also been secured.
In a video that quickly went viral on social media, the Physics teacher is seen physically assaulting a student.
According to classmates, the incident occurred inside the school after the student whispered something to a friend during class.
They said the teacher’s reaction was immediate and severe, escalating to physical violence against the minor.
