A 34-year-old man died this morning in a hospital in Tirana, after allegedly consuming Fotoksin in his home in the city of Lezhë.

According to preliminary information, the individual, identified by the initials E. M., 34, was taken for medical help but could not survive the consequences of the poisoning. Police stated that efforts are underway to fully document the circumstances of the incident.

“It is suspected that Fotoksin was consumed in his home in Lezhë by E. M., 34, who subsequently lost his life in a Tirana hospital this morning. Work is ongoing to document the circumstances of the incident,” the police said in a statement.
