Serious incident: A 60-year-old man from Erseka, who worked as a shepherd in Greece, is found dead at the border

An Albanian migrant from Erseka, who worked in Greece as a shepherd, was found dead near the border just two days after his Greek employer had reported him missing.


Police sources confirmed that the victim is F.K., 60 years old, who had been working as a shepherd in the neighboring country. His body was discovered in the Gramoz mountain area on Greek territory, and investigations have begun to determine the circumstances and causes of death.


The victim had lost contact with his workplace since September 22 and was reported missing by his employer. He was found dead today near the village of Gramoz, on Greek soil. Authorities will conduct the necessary procedures, while cooperation with Albanian authorities is expected. No details have been released yet regarding whether there were signs of violence on his body.
