SHAMEFUL / Two teachers physically clash during the long break, in front of students

Two teachers at the “Shaban Hashani” high school in Ferizaj were involved in a physical altercation on Thursday, during the long break, in front of students and the school principal.

Regarding the incident, a student had notified the Ferizaj Regional Police.

“On 29.01.2026, at around 11:15, the police received information that in a secondary school in Ferizaj, two teachers were involved in a physical altercation,” confirmed on 30.01.2026 to KALLXO the spokesperson of the Ferizaj Regional Police, Kanun Veseli.

“The incident occurred at around 09:25 in the corridor near the teachers’ room, involving two professors. The situation was immediately calmed by the school administration,” he added.

The case was also confirmed by phone by the principal of “Shaban Hashani” high school, Hajrije Nebihu, who was present at the moment of the physical confrontation between the teachers.

Nebihu described the incident only as a “push,” although she admitted that one of the teachers fell to the ground.

“There was no beating, an incident did occur, I cannot deny it; he pushed him, he knocked the other one down,” Nebihu said.

“I was there, and the same professor stood up and grabbed him to lift him. There were no punches between them, but he pushed him from behind, on the back, while leaving, intentionally, not accidentally,” she added.

Nebihu stated that she immediately asked the teachers to go home and informed the Municipal Directorate of Education of the Municipality of Ferizaj.
