SKËNDERBEU/ Here’s the major absence for the white-and-reds this Sunday in Lushnjë!

This Sunday, Skënderbeu will play an away match in Lushnjë, a game worth three points for coach Ernest Gjoka’s team. Although all away matches in the First Division are challenging, Skënderbeu’s only objective is victory, as the white-and-reds are eager to secure promotion to the Superliga as soon as possible.

Since Monday, Skënderbeu has been preparing at the “Skënderbeu” Stadium, and Gjoka has the full squad available for this match with one major exception: the team’s main striker, Bismark.

Bismark was absent even in the first-week 3-0 victory over Burreli and will not travel with the team this week. It has now been confirmed that he cannot play until August 31, the day of the match against Lushnja, as he is still registered with Vllaznia, which competed in European competitions.

The loan period also ends on Sunday, and Skënderbeu’s management is considering the possibility of selling Bismark if a significant financial offer arrives.
