“SMART Future Laboratory” – Meeting at UNIKO within the SMART Innovation Centers (SIC_UNIKO) project

The Tourism Department at the Faculty of Economics, University of Korça (UNIKO), organized the activity “SMART Future Laboratory” as part of the SMART Innovation Centers project (SIC_UNIKO).

This event took the form of a dynamic and interactive meeting aimed at helping tourism students identify the professional skills required in today’s job market. The activity actively contributes to improving their academic and professional qualifications.

Through curriculum analysis, collaboration with various stakeholders, and strategic planning within the “SMART Thinking” approach, students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the latest trends in sustainable tourism development and further clarify their career prospects.

The laboratory aimed to foster critical thinking and creativity, encouraging students to actively engage as co-creators in the learning process and as promoters of innovation in the tourism sector.

This activity represents an important step in building bridges between higher education and professional practice, bringing the university closer to the challenges and demands of the contemporary job market.
