SPAC seeks his arrest, Balluku resists, attends the SP Assembly meeting

The Socialist Party held its General Assembly on Saturday morning in Durrës.

In footage published by the media, former number two in the Rama government, Belinda Balluku, was seen attending the Assembly, entering the building alongside Blendi Klosi.

Meanwhile, the Special Prosecution (SPAC) has submitted a request to Parliament to lift Balluku’s immunity, a request that the Socialist lawmakers blocked.

Since last year, Balluku has been defying the judiciary, appearing alongside Rama, even though SPAK accuses her of violating fairness in public tenders and has argued that allowing her to remain free risks the destruction of evidence.
