“SPEAK ALBANIAN: A Monitoring and debate on the Albanian language in TV"

“SPEAK ALBANIAN: MONITORING AND DEBATE ABOUT THE ALBANIAN LANGUAGE ON TV” — is the theme of a roundtable discussion taking place at “Fan S. Noli” University as part of efforts to raise awareness about the more accurate use of the Albanian language.

The event is an initiative of the Albanian Media Institute in cooperation with the Audiovisual Media Authority.

The purpose of this meeting is to improve the use of the Albanian language in media reports by journalists.

Raising awareness about the correct and proper use of Albanian in audiovisual media is one of the most important initiatives undertaken by the Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA), as a crucial element in reporting ethics.

For those present, journalists and students, a study conducted by ISHM titled “Monitoring the Use of Foreign Words in Audiovisual Media” was also presented.
