Sporting Director Ardi Gjançi clarifies: What Skënderbeu will do with loaned players and academy talents

Preparations for the new season have begun at Skënderbeu, and one of the main areas of focus is the future of loaned players and talented youngsters from the club’s academy. Seven players from the U-19 squad, who have now aged out of the youth category, are being closely considered for inclusion in the first team.

Speaking on this matter, Skënderbeu’s Technical Director, Ardi Gjançi, provided clarity on the club’s stance:

“All the loaned players will return to the team, as will those coming up from the U-19s. When we loaned them out, we included a clause that allows the club to bring them back immediately if needed. The club decides where they will be deployed. None of them are outside our plans.”

Gjançi’s comments offer reassurance to both players and supporters, showing that the club is committed to integrating these individuals and giving them the opportunity to prove themselves at a higher level.

Although there have not yet been direct meetings with the players involved, this development is a positive sign, especially for those who have come through Skënderbeu’s ranks and are eager to play a role in the first team during the upcoming season.
