The dark stories of Stelina’s family: How a night on August 13, 2009 changed everything

Stelina shared publicly for the first time the painful story of her life, revisiting one of the darkest episodes her family has experienced. Her account deeply moved the housemates and viewers, leaving an indelible mark.

She recounted how the figure who should have been the family’s protection and safety turned into the monster of their lives, leaving behind trauma and physical wounds that would follow them forever.

Recalling her childhood, Stelina spoke about the happy days at the beginning of her life, up until the moment she first confronted violence inside the home. One day, while she was playing outside, she heard screams and saw her mother injured, an event that marked a harsh turning point in the family’s life.

The most dramatic event occurred on August 13, 2009. In just 15 minutes, her father forced his way into the room and attacked her mother, causing her multiple injuries. In an attempt to protect her, her 14-year-old sister intervened and was seriously wounded near the neck.

Amid the panic, the sister managed to stop the attack, while Stelina remained frozen in fear. The family managed to get out of the house, covered in blood, while the police arrived moments later. At the hospital, Stelina saw her father handcuffed, an image that would stay with her for the rest of her life.

After this event, her father ended up behind bars, while Stelina was severely traumatized and did not speak for several days. Her mother and sister faced great difficulties but chose not to give up. Stelina said she met her father only twice after the incident and decided to cut him out of her life forever. He passed away in June 2025.

Nevertheless, the bond between Stelina, her mother, and her sister remained unbreakable. They never let go of each other’s hands, and family support was the strength that helped her move forward. In 2025, Stelina became part of a television program, an experience that would radically change her life.
