The Council of Ministers has approved the list of medicines that are reimbursed by the Compulsory Health Care Insurance Fund (FSDKSH) and the coverage rate for their prices.
According to the decision, List I of reimbursable medicines, which are sold in hospital pharmacies, and List II of medicines reimbursed by the Compulsory Health Care Insurance Fund, have been approved.
The coverage rate for the prices of reimbursable medicines, classified according to ATC groups, has also been approved, ranging from 50% to 100%, depending on therapeutic groups and specific medicines.
The decision also includes the approval of trade margins for reimbursable medicines, set at 8% for wholesale trade and 24% for retail trade, as well as differentiated margins for certain medicines in Lists I and II.
The Health Care Insurance Fund is tasked, in accordance with current legislation, with determining restrictions on the use, quantity, and duration of treatment with medicines in this list, based on economic, medical, and social criteria.
It is also required to sign agreements to reduce the prices of medicines included in the list with marketing authorization holders.
If, during the validity of this decision, prices decrease for non-registered medicines in the list or for alternative medicines sold in hospital and retail pharmacies, the Fund, upon notification from the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, will reflect the price reduction in the list. The control stamp for the medicine will be issued after the price is approved by the Fund.
The prices used for preparing Lists I and II of reimbursable medicines are based on re-evaluated prices approved for 2026, according to the decision on the establishment and functioning of the Medicines Price Commission, as amended.
