The meeting of the Socialist Party Presidency has concluded, lasting only 30 minutes. Prime Minister Edi Rama left while conversing with the Mayor of Shkodër, Benet Beci.
During the meeting, discussions focused on communication with party structures. Rama requested that members go out into the field and meet with citizens.
Elections within the Socialist Party structures are expected to take place this year. As Rama announced at the party group meeting in March, a dialogue with party members and supporters is anticipated to begin.
A day earlier, Rama submitted proposals for the latest government changes to the Head of State, Bajram Begaj, during a meeting at the Palace of Brigades.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku was also present at the presidency meeting; besides being a member of the presidency, she serves as the political leader of Fier district.
According to sources, the date for the National Assembly has not yet been announced in this presidency meeting.
