The New Year begins tragically: Three people killed in a midnight accident. The victims were 24, 25, and 27 years old

At around 03:18 in the morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Gjirokastër–Tepelenë road, at a location known as the “Bypass.”
The collision involved two vehicles and resulted in the tragic loss of life of both drivers and one passenger. A young woman was injured and is currently under medical care.
Investigative authorities are continuing their work to clarify the full circumstances of the accident.
Tepelenë / Preliminary information
At approximately 03:18, on the Gjirokastër–Tepelenë road, at the place known as the “Bypass,” a vehicle driven by M. D., 25, a resident of Tepelenë, collided with a vehicle driven by K. M., 24, also a resident of Tepelenë.
As a result of the accident, both drivers lost their lives, as well as the passenger A. R., 27, a resident of Tepelenë. Another passenger, A. D., 19, a resident of Delvinë, was injured and is currently receiving treatment at the Trauma Hospital, under the care of doctors.
The investigative team is continuing work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
