The path to university starts now: Applications open for high school graduates

he Ministry of Education and Sports has announced the opening of applications for forms A1 and A1Z as part of the State Matura 2026 process, which will take place from May 5 to May 7.

According to the official announcement made by the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, graduates will be able to apply every day from 08:00 to 16:00, through dedicated online platforms provided by educational institutions.

Alongside the application process, the official dates for the State Matura 2026 exams have also been published. According to the approved calendar, the foreign language exam will be held on June 2, while on June 9 graduates will take the Albanian language and literature test.

Furthermore, the mathematics exam is scheduled for June 16, while the elective subject test will take place on June 23.

Education authorities have called on students to respect the set deadlines and carefully follow the application procedures in order to avoid any issues during the registration and examination process.
