Parliament opened today with strong accusations within the majority.

During his speech, Socialist Party MP Erjon Braçe strongly criticized the Minister of Health, Evis Sala, stating that he had requested a Q&A session with the minister but had not received a response.

Braçe further highlighted that the health center in Unit 5 has been without healthcare services for months, at a time when the flu season is at its peak.

“I submitted a request for a Q&A session with the Minister of Health regarding the non-functioning of a health center in Unit 5. We are at the peak of flu season, and thousands of people in that area are unable to access timely healthcare. The request was made on January 19, and today is February 3. People have been in need for four months. It should also have been in the minister’s interest to attend this requested Q&A. I don’t expect a response in Parliament that we just watch. We are entering the fifth month with very limited healthcare services. When will the health center in that area be reopened?” Braçe said.
