Thriller! / Mother and daughter found dead in a ‘sealed’ room, bodies decomposed, role of the son under investigation

A 91-year-old woman and her 56-year-old daughter were found dead in a “sealed” room in the Zografou neighborhood of Athens.

According to authorities, their bodies were in an advanced state of decomposition.

The police were alerted by relatives of the two women, who feared that the family’s 54-year-old son might have caused them harm. When the police visited the apartment, the son initially did not allow them entry, but later told them that the two women lived in a house on another street.

After further checks, the police returned to the original apartment and discovered a locked room where the bodies of the deceased women were found. Authorities have opened an investigation, and the family’s son has been taken in for questioning.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the deaths and to clarify the possible role of the son in this tragic incident.
