Today is International Sports Journalists Day, the Chairman of the County Council sends a special greeting!

The Chairman of the Korçë County Council, Petrika Tollkuçi, has written the following lines and posted the photo below on the International Day of Sports Journalists.

Today, on the International Day of Sports Journalists, I am sharing a photo from a few months ago, from an event that brought together sports journalists, radio commentators, and sports photojournalists, professionals who have contributed greatly to sports and to the promotion of sporting values in the Korçë region.

We know that sports journalism is a profession that requires passion, dedication, sacrifice, and responsibility. Through their work, they have conveyed the emotions of competitions, the successes of athletes, and the history of sport in our region.

With gratitude, I remember and thank all those who have contributed over the years: Petrit Spaho (deceased), the first sports journalist; Tonin Frroku, Vasillaq Çikopana, Koço Lilo, Albert Aliko, Pëllumb Starova, Llazi Saro, Romeo Xinxifi, Leonard Trebicka, Gëzim Hashimi, Thanas Gjata (deceased), Ilir Jano, Redi Dandallaku, Ildi Merolli, Enea Përrenjasi, and Albana Çakshiri.
