Today marks 5 years since the passing of football icon Milutin Kërçiç!

Today marks exactly 5 years since the farewell of one of the greatest in Korçë and all of Albania, Milutin Kërçiç.

Mili passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 63. He was a former footballer for Skënderbeu and the national team.

He had been suffering for some time from a serious illness and had previously undergone heart surgery.

Milutin Kërçiç is undoubtedly one of the best footballers in the entire history of Skënderbeu. For nearly 30 years, he lived in Guci, Montenegro, where his father was from. In 2010, he returned to Skënderbeu when former Korçë football president Agim Zeqo included him in the team’s staff for almost three seasons. Later, he returned once again to his homeland, where he would eventually be laid to rest.

Today, everyone remembers Mili with great affection, a footballer whose legacy in the game remains equally great.

Eternal be the memory of Milutin Kërçiç.
