Traffic Police Arrest Driver for DUI After Accident; Another Driver Faces Legal Charges

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested N. J., 60, a resident of Buçimas, in flagrante after the vehicle he was driving, while under the influence of alcohol, collided with another vehicle, causing material damage.

At the same time, these officers have referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings have been initiated against T. D., 37, a resident of Korça, who lost control of his vehicle, resulting in it going off the road. T. D. sustained minor injuries.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Korça for further actions.
