Two pharmacists under investigation in Korçë for smuggling medications from Greece

Specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Unit in Korçë have referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office and initiated criminal proceedings against two individuals, A. M., 28 years old, and L. Q., 43 years old, both residents of Korçë.

The investigation began following an inspection of the pharmaceutical businesses managed by these individuals, during which a quantity of medications suspected of being smuggled from Greece was discovered and seized.

Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the origin and full quantity of the medicines, while the two individuals are suspected of engaging in illegal activities related to the trade of pharmaceutical products.
