Tragedy: The 4-year-old from Pogradec passes away in Tirana after three days in critical condition

A serious incident has shaken public opinion, as a 4-year-old child from Pogradec has died at a hospital in Tirana after three days in critical health condition.

According to the information, the minor was initially taken to the Pogradec hospital after being accidentally hit on the head with a stone by his younger sister while they were playing at home. Due to the severity of his condition, he was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for more specialized treatment.

Despite the doctors’ efforts, the 4-year-old was unable to survive, passing away after several days in critical condition.

Police have referred the case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for further actions, while investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
