Two young people die in an accident, car goes off the road and crashes into the stairs

A serious accident, with two fatalities, occurred around 2:00 a.m. at the entrance of the city of Peqin, near the Teqe bridge.

According to the police, a “Volkswagen Golf” with license plate AB433PE went off the road and crashed into the side stairs of a house.

Inside the vehicle were two people: Gabriel Agron Lluca, 23 years old, resident of Peqin and the driver of the car, as well as Denis Zeqir Korbi, 23 years old, also a resident of Peqin.

Both young men were rushed to Elbasan hospital, but despite the doctors’ efforts, they could not survive the injuries sustained and died at the hospital.

Police said they are conducting investigations regarding the circumstances and causes of the serious accident.
