The U-15 girls’ national team has started its training camp in Tirana since Friday, in preparation for the “UEFA Development” tournament for this age group. Under the guidance of coach Daniela Kodra, 20 red-and-black girls are conducting training sessions at the “House of Football.” In a statement for fshf.org, Coach Kodra expressed her happiness at being entrusted with the U-15 national team bench and hopes the squad will achieve positive results in the tournament.

“I’m very happy, and it’s a huge responsibility at the same time. I want to thank the Football Federation for the trust they have placed in me, and I believe we will succeed in achieving something good and providing these girls with the support they need to move forward and find the right path in football.”

Regarding the team, the Albanian coach expressed confidence in the players selected to represent Albania in this tournament and is pleased they have chosen to play for the red-and-black colors.

“Our team consists of girls who play in the Albanian league as well as those coming from leagues outside Albania. We are delighted to see how happy they are about the call-up to the national team. This motivates us as a staff to work even harder for them and give our best. I have confidence in this group. They are girls who know how to play football well and love the game. I believe we will get 100% from each of them.

Our objective is to present ourselves as best as we can, to play great matches, and for the girls to enjoy the experience. It’s important to me that the girls return home after this tournament feeling motivated and inspired to work harder, with a beautiful memory in their careers,” said Daniela Kodra to fshf.org.

Albania will play its first match on Monday against Kosovo at 15:00 at the House of Football. On October 2, the red-and-black girls will face Estonia, and on October 5, Albania will play its third and final match of the tournament against North Macedonia. All matches will be held at the House of Football.
