US State Department reveals meeting with Dumani/ Albania an “oasis” for drug cartels and trafficking

The U.S. Department of State has shared details about the meeting between the head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SPAK), Altin Dumani, and senior State Department official for European and Eurasian Affairs, Brendan Hanrahan.


According to *Top Channel*, Dumani and Hanrahan discussed common goals such as combating drug trafficking, organized crime, and irregular migration. They also explored areas of cooperation with mutual benefits.


“The United States is working with Albania on our shared objectives of stopping drug trafficking, organized crime, and irregular migration. Senior Department officials met with the head of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), Dumani, to discuss areas of cooperation with mutual benefit,” the State Department’s response stated.


The meeting took place three days ago behind closed doors, without media presence.
