The match of the 9th week of the national volleyball championship for women between Skënderbeu and Dinamo has just concluded at the “Tamara Nikolla” sports hall, with a clean victory for the white-and-reds coached by Orlando Koja, winning 3-0.

This victory lifts Skënderbeu to 26 points, extending their lead over the chasing teams, Partizani and Tirana.

The first set begins well for the visitors from the capital, who lead 0-2, 2-5, but then Skënderbeu equalizes at 6-6. Immediately, Skënderbeu scores 3 more points, going ahead 9-6. The scoreline progresses with Skënderbeu leading 13-9, 15-12, 18-14, and 20-16, showing that Skënderbeu is in control of this set. They win it 25-18, taking a 1-0 lead.

The second set starts with Skënderbeu leading 5-2, and later Dinamo manages to tie at 6-6. Skënderbeu then takes the lead again at 9-7, but Dinamo moves ahead for the first time, 9-10. The white-and-reds then start to pull away, with the score reaching 17-14 and maintaining the lead at 19-16. Skënderbeu doesn’t let up, and wins the set 25-16, taking a 2-0 lead in sets.

The third and final set begins with Skënderbeu in full control, leading 3-0. Dinamo equalizes at 5-5, and again at 7-7. At this point, the players of Orlando Koja start pulling away again, leading 10-7. The advantage continues to grow with Skënderbeu leading 19-14, 22-17, and ultimately winning the set 25-18, completing the clean sweep with a 3-0 victory.

A beautiful win for the white-and-reds, and it seems that Skënderbeu is a tough team for all the other teams in this championship, with their only goal being the championship title.
