Ward 4 in Korça: Criminal prosecution for the owner and the 3 musicians

DVP Korçë / Intensive controls continue for the prevention of noise pollution in the entire district.

They disturbed public peace by playing loud music in the premises of a bar, the owner of the bar and 3 musicians, who were employed illegally, are being prosecuted.

The devices that generated the music are seized.

The services of the Korça Police Station, in cooperation with the Task Force, as a result of checks at night, to prevent the disturbance of citizens and vacationers, due to noise pollution that is a consequence of loud music in various entertainment entities, have found 1 case of illegality in this field.

Specifically, in a bar in neighborhood no. 4, Korçë, loud music was found, exceeding the legal regulations on the noise level.

Following the procedural actions for this case, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Korçë Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state, for the citizens M. Z (the owner of the bar), A. H; A. Zh. and M. Ç., musicians in this bar, for the criminal offense "Disturbance of public peace", committed in cooperation.

Also, during the verifications, it was found that the three musicians were not declared in the social insurance scheme, as employed in this bar.

As material evidence, the equipment that generated the music was seized.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.

The State Police appeals to all administrators and owners of bars and hotels, to strictly implement the law and rules regarding noise pollution, since in case of detection of illegalities in this area, the Police services will seize the devices that generate music and will proceed according to the law, the responsible citizens.
