Burreli will start the season with a tough matchup in the first week of the championship, traveling to Korçë to face one of the most renowned names in Albanian football, Skënderbeu. It is a highly anticipated challenge and will immediately serve as a difficult test for that team.

The club’s administrator, Marjan Lleshaj, stated that although they face a rival with history and quality, Burreli will step onto the field without complexes and with the aim of competing honorably.

“The match in Korçë will be difficult, as Skënderbeu has a very strong team and, in fact, did not deserve relegation from the Superiore Category.

But now this is a reality, so we will face them as equals, just like any other opponent. We have shown that we know how to compete and fight in every game. I hope it will be a fair-play match and that we can enjoy it, regardless of the result,” Lleshaj said.

Burreli aims to demonstrate that it is ready for any rival and will not be a team that merely participates, but one that seeks to build a dignified season in a championship expected to be very competitive and challenging.
