Weapons and drugs arsenal uncovered, father and son arrested

After a one-month investigation in Fier, an arsenal of weapons and a significant quantity of drugs were uncovered, including over 17 kg of cannabis sativa, two pistols, two automatic firearms, two hand grenades, and more than 1,100 rounds of ammunition.
A 34-year-old man and his 61-year-old father were arrested, both suspected of criminal activity related to drugs and weapons.
The 34-year-old’s vehicle contained around 1 kg of cannabis divided into doses ready for sale.
The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecution Office for further actions regarding the criminal offenses of “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Illegal possession of explosive weapons and ammunition.”

Fier / After one month of investigations using proactive methods, the police operation codenamed “New Start 2” was finalized.
An arsenal of weapons and a quantity of drugs were discovered.
Firearms, combat grenades, military ammunition, and drugs were seized.
A 34-year-old citizen involved in the criminal activity of selling narcotic substances was arrested.
His father was also arrested after an arsenal of weapons and an additional quantity of narcotics were found in their residence.
The Narcotics Investigation Sector of the Fier Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Fier Prosecution Office, after a one-month investigative process, with the support of the Operational Forces and the “Eagles” unit, finalized the police operation codenamed “New Start 2.”
As a result, citizen A. H., 34 years old, resident of the village of Suk, Roskovec, was arrested.
Based on information obtained during the investigation that the 34-year-old was selling drugs and possessed firearms, during the operation police services stopped A. H. at the exit of the village of Suk, Roskovec, where they found about 1 kg of cannabis sativa in his vehicle, divided into doses ready for sale.
Following this, during searches of the residence and the business premises owned by him and his father, police found 17.6 kg of suspected cannabis sativa, processed and divided into doses ready for sale, two pistols, two automatic firearms, two hand grenades, 1,110 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, two mobile phones, and one motorcycle, all of which were seized as material evidence.
Subsequently, the arrest of citizen A. H., 61 years old, was also carried out.
In cooperation with the Prosecution Office, work continues to fully document this case legally.
