"You drove our children away from the country," former head of Korçë's Socialist Party accuses Rama: You created the most corrupt administration in 114 years of statehood

While Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama speaks about “Besa” and an administration that will change, those who have worked closely with him over the years have a different view.
One of them is former head of the Socialist Party branch in Korçë, Muharrem Meko, who, in a social media post, claims that Rama’s administration is the worst in the country’s 114 years of statehood, even surpassing that of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
He says the current government has also driven young people away from the country, while placing the blame for the “mess” entirely on the prime minister.
The post
“Finally, ‘the big one’ has apparently understood that the Administration was the cause of all the trouble… and the rebellion of the ‘Pelicans’! So the real causes are not the overwhelming corruption, not the departure of Albania’s children, not the sale of public lands and properties along the coast by the strippers, not the lack of justice, not the lack of healthcare…”
“None of them, none of them… except the Administration!
Unfortunately, everything that today, more than ever, is being done backwards, or not being done at all, being done poorly or maliciously, to the detriment of Albanians and even for questionable interests in the name of anti-Albanianism, or the black millions that burn and torment the hearts of Albanians, bears precisely this disgusting name!
…when it should have been different, completely different, since the public perception of the administration is like that of a child toward a parent; meanwhile, rampant corruption has drastically reduced trust in it, and the lack of meritocracy, bordering on illiteracy, has lowered the head of the Albanian people, desperately seeking the missing ‘parent’, like no other nation in Europe!
Personally, I have openly stated for a long time that, in the 114-year history of the Albanian state, there has never been, nor will there ever be, an administration as corrupt and incompetent as today’s.
To tell the truth, it could not have been any different from a stale and disgusting mixture, a dough kneaded between Berisha’s former administration (whose dysfunction punished Sali in 2013 with one million votes) and the Soros-backed gifts; the G-99 and Mjaft activists who, like today’s ‘pelicans’, once screamed through the streets of Tirana: Nano leave, PS leave!
Oh, Big One!
Do not complain to anyone; you are the only one responsible for this chaos and this mess you have cooked up under the label: State Administration… and God help anyone who has to deal with it and solve a problem through it!
…and as for you personally, as its head??”
– I cannot say anything except this: may the efforts, support, and resistance of those thousands of early Socialist supporters open your eyes — those who sacrificed themselves and waited for you like Prometheus from Greek mythology!
…even though you had not contributed anything; the opposite could be said!
Because it was you who, when you followed behind Sali Berisha, had condemned the idealists of the left and its steadfast heroes with all kinds of the most disgusting epithets, nicknames, and labels!
In fact, as if to put the final seal on your hatred toward them, when you got on the horse of power, you threw them out onto the street as worthless beings, gathering around yourself only the “dregs” and illiterate, Soros-backed remnants!
Oh, I almost forgot; you are taking us to Europe… but you forget that it is of no use to me and thousands of Albanians like me… absolutely none!
…and do you know why?
– Because we carry in our pockets American, British, German, and Italian citizenships; thanks to your “care” that left us without our children… because, unlike your own children, you killed the hope of our children and sent them beyond the Adriatic Sea and the Pacific Ocean!
I have only one thing left to say to you: may Sali be your reward!
