21.5 kg of heroin seized at the Greek-Albanian border near Kapshticë. 50-year-old arrested

Greek police have seized a large quantity of heroin at the Greek-Albanian green border.

The operation was carried out by the anti-crime sector of Xanthi in cooperation with the anti-drug sector of Fyllorina.

Greek police had received information about a drug shipment that was to cross the green border near Kapshticë into Greece.

They intervened by stopping a 50-year-old Albanian man, who was transporting a bag containing 43 packages with a total of 21.5 kg of heroin.
