22-year-old arrested for carrying a knife

The Kuçovë Police Station, in cooperation with the Operational Unit of the Berat Police Directorate, arrested 22-year-old Alvaro Saraçi, a resident of Lushnjë, after he was caught carrying a bladed weapon without a permit.

During a search of the vehicle he was driving, officers found and seized a knife. According to sources, the young man told police that the knife had been given to him as a gift and that he had "forgotten" it in his bag.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the 22-year-old for the offense of "Manufacturing, Possession, and Sale of Bladed Weapons Without a Permit." The case has been referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action.
