33-year-old caught after robbing two minimarkets

Crime Investigation specialists at the Vlora Police Commissariat have finalized the police operation codenamed “Again”, arresting and detaining a 33-year-old man suspected of theft.

The suspected perpetrator who stole sums of money from two minimarkets has been caught and placed under arrest.

The 33-year-old has previous convictions for theft.

Specialists for Crime Investigation at the Vlora Police Commissariat, as part of their ongoing work to solve theft cases and identify and apprehend perpetrators, and based on information obtained through investigative and tracking activities, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Again”.

As part of the operation, the police arrested and detained, for the criminal offense of “Theft”, citizen E. K., 33 years old, resident of the “Rilindja” neighborhood, Vlora.

Investigative actions have revealed that this individual is the author of two thefts at commercial entities (minimarkets) in the city of Vlora, specifically:

On 29.01.2026, in the “Pavarësia 2” neighborhood, and on 31.01.2026, in the “Isa Boletini” neighborhood, he is suspected of having stolen sums of money and cartons of cigarettes.

Work continues in cooperation with the Prosecution to clarify and legally document several other cases suspected to have been committed by this individual.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora for further legal actions.
