345 thousand students start the new school year today. Here are the changes in the education system

The new 2025–2026 school year begins today for around 345,000 students across the country, while 31,000 teachers return to work in public educational institutions.

The Ministry of Education, in a post on social media, announced that free textbooks have been provided for 236,000 students, 30 new schools have been built, and 340 SMART laboratories have been rehabilitated.

“Teachers, psychologists, social workers, security officers, and the entire school staff are ready to welcome students on the first day of school,” the Ministry’s statement reads.
