5 years into retirement, but still in the emergency room – the story that inspires

The gentle son from the village of Lin, Dr. Qamil Avdullai, is a name that deserves Pogradec’s everlasting gratitude.

After successfully finishing his medical studies, he and his wife, Dr. Sekinea, devoted nine full years of service to Proptisht Hospital, where their dedication and professionalism brought outstanding results for the patients of the Mokra region.

In 1992 Dr. Qamil completed his specialization as an anesthesiologist‑resuscitator, and since then he has never left the emergency department in Pogradec. Day and night, he has stood by every urgent case, saving lives and offering hope.

Although he has been retired for five years, his great heart and sense of duty have never tired. He remains present, ready to help whenever someone is in need.

Citizens of Pogradec, never forget your doctors! Those who have stood by you in your most difficult hours deserve more than a simple thank‑you.
