A 76-year-old man in Durrës was arrested by police following a domestic dispute in neighborhood no. 17. After receiving the report, police quickly arrived at the scene to calm the situation.

Preliminary information indicates that during an argument at home, the man, A.R., 76, allegedly physically assaulted his 70-year-old wife, F.D., striking her with a wooden stick and causing injuries.

Police intervened immediately, preventing further escalation, and took the suspected perpetrator into custody. Meanwhile, the injured woman was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where she is receiving necessary medical care.
