A man was caught with 10 kg of heroin; the Albanian had hidden it in a child’s car seat

A 40-year-old Albanian man was arrested by Italian police after being caught with a quantity of drugs. The man, residing in the province of Turin, was found with 10 kg of heroin.

He was traveling in an SUV with his wife and two young children when officers from the Milan Flying Squad stopped the vehicle for inspection. During the search, the police discovered the carefully hidden drug shipment in the back of the child’s car seat.

The 40-year-old was immediately arrested and taken to the police station for routine checks.

Subsequent investigations at his home in the province of Turin led to the seizure of an additional three kilograms of heroin, confirming the significance of his supply chain.

Investigators do not rule out further inquiries to identify his network of contacts and the intended destination of the narcotics.
