ACCIDENT / A 57-year-old man has lost his life. Two drivers have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol

serious accident was recorded last night in the Gjiri i Lalëzit, where a collision between two vehicles proved fatal for one person.

According to police, the incident happened around 22:00, when two cars crashed into each other in the area of Gjiri i Lalëzit.

A 57-year-old man, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, lost his life as a result of the impact.

The drivers of both vehicles, as well as another passenger, were also injured and received medical assistance.

Following procedural actions, police arrested both drivers on the spot after it was confirmed that they were driving under the influence of alcohol.

The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
