ACCIDENT / Car driver hits bicycle, 66-year-old in serious condition

A serious road accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning on the Lezhë–Milot road axis, near the Rrila junction.

According to preliminary information, a “Mercedes Benz” vehicle with Kosovo license plates hit a bicycle ridden by 66-year-old Preng Ndreka, a resident of Shënkoll.

As a result of the collision, the 66-year-old was seriously injured and transported to the hospital for first aid treatment, before being urgently transferred to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for specialized care.
