ACCIDENT / Car ends up in a canal. Mystery over the disappearance of the driver

An early morning road accident was recorded on the Lushnjë–Berat road near the village of Kashtbardhë.
According to preliminary information, a “Peugeot” vehicle with Bulgarian license plates left the road and ended up in a roadside canal.
Police forces immediately arrived at the scene and launched investigations to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
What makes the incident unusual is that no person was found inside the vehicle, and according to police, no one has so far reported to a hospital for medical assistance.
Authorities are working to identify the driver and fully clarify the dynamics of the accident.
